Anyway, I have been thinking about my college application, and beyond all the activity that confounds me, I have one fact that will help me sleep. Until I get the decisions, I am Schroedinger's Cat. (All you Germans/linguists/haters of me, I did not have the patience to put in umlauts)
On the plus side, I have recently resorted to Mandriva(still <3 you, Knoppix) but what a bummer: it runs soooooooo slowly on my 2 GB processor(why, oh why). I would like to install it against Windows(yeah, my vendetta goes a long way) butI can't help it; I'll be out of the house before I can say Ouagadougou. Three nice little man-figures can't match my preference for Knoppix; maybe I just haven't discovered the full utility of the OS( I havent compiled a Kernel for it yet). Sweet sweet penguin:)

One more thing, and I totally intend to get dramatic about this stuff:
SACRILEGE: TODAY, AUGUST 22 IS THE COUNTRY WIDE LAUNCH OF THE APPLE iPHONE 3G. AND BECAUSE LIFE IS SUCH A BUMMER: $199>>>>>>>>>INR 31,000. Who has that kinda money??!(not me atleast!) After salivating in front of mobile shops, connection outlets, getting pulled away by angry wander-mates, getting dirty looks by sausage-fingered shopkeepers, hugging cardboard cutouts, and obsessively reading every review, this is NOT what I wanted. Especially when BSNL is bringing 3G to this place.
Sad.
Next time, I'll write about something other than Linux/gadgets/app/geek-ese. I have to diversify for another audience.

@Digveer
I thought it was self evident that I meant a processor with a 2GB RAM. I mean, what else can it mean sweetie?
Also, u clear up BSNL's office. Hey, anything for high speed:P
yea. nething.
2GB ram should be able to run Mandriva beautifully; it did just fine on my 512MB =/
Try Debian, it's better and runs more efficiently~ ;)
